“What better way to start and finish your day”

Clocktower House has opened an exciting before and after school club run by our dedicated and experienced staff exclusively for the children who attend Clocktower House Preschool and Marlborough Infant School.

The club offers a homely feel where children can relax, play and socialise in a comfortable and thriving environment.

  • Breakfast club (from 7.30 am)

A warm welcome awaits you and your family along with a healthy and nutritious breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit. A range of activities will be on offer before the children are dropped off to the pre-school or Marlborough via a walking school bus. Staff will pass on any messages from you to the school.

  • Afterschool club (until 5.45pm)

The perfect place to be after a busy day at school. Children are collected via the walking school bus at the end of the school day (please let us know if your child is attending a club at the school). The children can select from a range of activities both inside and out, and a light tea is also provided.

  • Staff.

The out of school club is run at a ratio of 1:8 and is provided by dedicated practitioners who strive to encourage every child to reach their full potential.

Our staff bring an abundancy of experience supported by a range of qualifications. Each staff member has undergone an enhanced DBS check. All staff are first aid trained within the first 6 months of starting with us and complete safeguarding training. They are given numerous training opportunities to update their knowledge and skills.

  • The environment.

The out of school club provides a safe and secure environment with a relaxed atmosphere where children can select from a range of activities and resources including arts, crafts, construction, books, role play and more. They will also have full access to three outdoor areas. The garden, a small and calm area full of plants and wildlife. The playground, a large area where children can run, play and explore using a range of resources and The Burrow, a wooded area that inspires awe and wonder.
