Overview of School Improvement Priorities 2021 - 2022
Improve the leadership and management of the school by ensuring that leaders and teachers know how well children are doing in all subjects and not just in English and mathematics.
Improve the capacity of the overall leadership of the school by developing middle leadership roles further across the curriculum, working with the Aldershot Pyramid of schools on a specific focus on Science and Music.
Improve and sustain pupils’ attendance.
Improve outcomes in reading further, particularly by the end of Year 2, with a particular focus on pupils applying their reading skills beyond phonics and decoding and in focussing on guided reading in Year 2.
Improve teaching and learning further by increasing opportunities for pupils to work independently and interdependently.
